Zimbabwe is home to a significant portion of the world’s economically mineable chrome ore reserves, primarily located along the eastern and western rims of the Great Dyke. This strategic geological formation positions Zimbabwe as a key global supplier in the chrome mining industry.

Chrome ore, an essential component in stainless steel production, is an alloy of iron and chromium with a chromium content typically ranging between 40% and 50%. Its addition imparts stainless steel with its renowned corrosion resistance and lustrous finish.

Our operations involve the extraction, crushing, and screening of chrome ore to meet precise customer specifications. In certain processes, the ore is granulated into a flowing stream of water to suit specific industrial applications.

With an annual production capacity of approximately 100,000 tons, Zimbabwe stands among the world’s top producers of high-grade chrome.
